Regarding the tank-matchups, WG just says 'Oh hey these tanks around x tier, get into a battle and I'll figure out the tank # balancing'. Therefore, XVM is made worse by the toxic players (not including me) that talk crap to hell and back on other players with 'crappier wn8'.įor the most part, what I complain most about WG is the fact that I don't like how they work the random battles - in LoL they have a hidden elo (WN8) system in which they match players of about equal skill.

I got called a 'fail reroller' several times in my first few days on WoT by some snotty players without knowing anything until much later (which is like after 3 months of playing). If WG actually implemented an Honor system like LoL has, I would honor those modest 'really crap players' and 'really good players'. And often times it's the 'really crap players' or 'really good players' with crap personalities. But still, you can't really tell if the 'good player' has a crap personality or not. For me, with XVM, it's like seeing LoL-ranked-loading-screen borders again. But if you are consistently terrible to the point that you never learn, that is, those with less than 200 WN8 after like 10-20k games, I'm suspicious about that. By this I don't mean that they're 'useless crap players/bots', I just mean that they're NOT GOOD at the game. If anything, I find it pretty useful and accurate. However, I'm not an elitist who whines about 'having tomatoes' on my team, and I don't use the '% win chance' on WoT. XVM is basically just a stat-calculating program that says 'YOUR SKILL LEVEL IS THIS: # BASED ON XXXXX.'. XVM would just make it worst on many levels. It takes players to step up and call them people out. This is a game people want to play and have fun. But I have been guilty of calling team killers, chat trolls and people that just down right try and shame others out.
